Whois Privacy Protection in Website Hosting
If you have ordered a website hosting from us and you have registered one or more domain names under your account, you will be able to activate Whois Privacy Protection for any of them with ease and to keep your private details intact. Of course, this can be done only with the TLD extensions that support this option. In your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you’ll find an “Whois Privacy Protection” symbol on the right-hand side of each of your domain names. Its color will show you if a domain is protected or not and in the second case, you can add Whois Privacy Protection with just a couple of clicks. Thus, you can safeguard your private information even if you have not activated the service during the web hosting account activation process. You will be able to renew or to deactivate the Whois Privacy Protection service for any of your domain names just as easily.
Whois Privacy Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers
Enabling Whois Privacy Protection for any domain name is very easy in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server. If the domain name is registered with us, it will be listed in the Registered Domains section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel that comes with each semi-dedicated plan. If a given generic or country-specific Top-Level Domain supports Whois Privacy Protection, you’ll see a mini logo next to that domain. To activate the service, you will have to click on it. In the same fashion, you can also renew or deactivate the service. You can order Whois Privacy Protection for a domain during the account activation process too, but since the service is optional, we’ll offer you the chance to add it to any of your domains later in case you think things over and decide to hide your personal info from the public after you have already created the semi-dedicated account.
